Well, I started out by building these items for myself because I needed them. They must have turned out pretty good, because people started asking for them. So here they are.
Patchbox I started to record most of the
dances I went to, but once in a while I found that there was
no patch box, because I was the only one recording and the
club did not provide a patch box. So I built a small patch
box that I could carry around easily. I had four high level
outputs and four low level outputs, all RCA jacks. Someone
suggested I add some 1/8 inch mini phone jacks, so I added
two high level and two low level mini phone jacks as well. I
have two 1/4 inch phone jacks (connected together) for
connecting the box to the speaker output of the amplifier.
The patch box comes complete with one mono 1/4 inch phone
to 1/4 inch phone cable for connecting the patch box to
the speaker output of the amplifier, and one RCA to stereo
1/8 inch mini phone cable for connecting the patch box to
your tape recorder or laptop computer. At just $25.00

Smartphone Recording Cable This
cable is for connecting a smartphone to a patchbox for
recording live dances to MP3 files using a suitable audio
recording app, such as Audio Recorder (available from the
F-Droid app store). Of course, your smartphone must have a
headphone/microphone jack. The cable includes a level
