- SdPlayer
2.00
This is my new and improved SdPlayer for Windows and
Linux. Click
here to show/hide details.
SdPlayer 2.00
SdPlayer gives you all the features you need for
playing music at your tape group. Unlike Wplayer,
SdPlayer does not need WinAmp. SdPlayer simplifies
playlist management because no tape group files are
needed to remember where you left off in the playlist.
SdPlayer gives you a tape counter, rewind to zero, tip
timer with sound, music looping for callers, and user
configurable keyboard shortcut keys. It adds playback
speed control and a separate tip timer sound volume
control. And SdPlayer is available for both Windows and
Linux. It is also OPEN SOURCE, so you can download the
source code if desired.
Installation notes for Windows: Because SdPlayer is
written using Qt, you need to download and install the
Qt runtime library files for Windows (if you haven't
already done so). It also uses the VLC media player
libraries, so it is necessary to install the VLC media
player for Windows. Install the 32 bit version of VLC
media player if using the 32 bit version of SdPlayer.
Also, SetupSdPlayer200.exe must be run as an
administrator to install the software (right-click it
and select Run as administrator if you do not have
administrator rights).
Read the SdPlayer 2.00 user
manual.

Windows)

- Wplayer
2.00 (older version using WinAmp)
This is my new and improved version of Wplayer with added
features, still using WinAmp. Click
here to show/hide details.
Wplayer 2.00
This is the newest version of Wplayer, completely
re-written. It has fully user programmable keyboard
shortcuts, adjustable skip forward/back times, and a
completely new look!
Installation instructions: Download BOTH the
SetupWplayer200.exe and SetupQT4Lib.exe files.
Double-click each file to install. The SetupQt4Lib.exe
file installs some necessary run-time libraries, and
does NOT need to be downloaded or installed again when
installing other Qt applications from this page. Wplayer
2.00 works with WinAmp to play your files, so it is
necessary to install WinAmp if you do not already have
it installed. Note that for Windows Vista, Windows 7 and
Windows 8 you must install WinAmp into the C:\Program
Files folder, not into the C:\Program Fines (x86)
folder. This can be done by changing the destination
folder during installation.
Read the Wplayer 2.00 user
manual.

in a playlist from exactly the place you left off.
Wplayer 1.00 works with WinAmp to play your files, so it
is necessary to install WinAmp if you do not already
have it installed. Note that for Windows Vista, Windows
7 and Windows 8 you must install WinAmp into the
C:\Program Files folder, not into the C:\Program Fines
